Berrien County and Their “Newbie” Prosecutors

If you are charged with a crime in Berrien County, Michigan, you need aggressive defense lawyers on your side.  The court system down there is biased against anyone charged with a crime.  Don’t go to court down there by yourself! We don’t care if you are facing a felony or a misdemeanor charge!

We recently got a felony charge of parental kidnapping dismissed.  The newbie prosecutor had no idea what the actual law said and our client suffered because of that.  Our client lost custody of his kids to an abusive parent because he was facing such “serious” charges.   The charge was thrown out after we filed a motion to dismiss the criminal charges, but the charges never should have been filed in the first place.

At District Court in Berrien County, we were able to get a misdemeanor charge dropped! We are still on a roll! However, the good news for our clients was just getting started. We represent a young man who was facing a life offense. Thanks to our hard work, we were able to get the prosecutor to agree to have our client plead guilty to a one-year misdemeanor.
